Species will begin to die off and start coming into cities and harm people. Back in the 70’s the Brazilian government thought it would be good idea to put civilizations in the forest. They built 9000’s miles of roadway and countless trees were destroyed. The government then realized they had made a mistake when lots of farmers had easy access to the forest and started clearing more land for there on use. Now South America has penalties for unauthorized people cutting down the trees in the rainforest. Trees rely on us just as much as we rely of them. If there were no animals on earth then the trees would die because the need them to recycle the carbon dioxide. The Amazon continues to shrink, though the rate of deforestation has been slowed down. Scientist believe that this is a major part in climate change. The trees soak up the carbon dioxide that would otherwise freely roam the atmosphere and contribute to ongoing climate change. Humans are not the only thing to take the blame for the deforestation
