The brothers, Derek and Danny, the two main characters are slowly being taught racism by their father who is then murdered by two black males. This causes Derek to become a neo-Nazi who catches a couple of blacks trying to steal his truck. Derek is sentenced to time in prison after brutally murdering the two blacks that he caught. His little brother, first having his father killed by blacks and his older brother being sent to prison by blacks becomes a neo-Nazi. While Derek is in prison he is sexually assaulted by the white supremacists because he does not feel that they should be doing deals with anyone other than his race and he begins questioning his beliefs. riots (Gang History, Para 4). This was conveyed in a way I don’t think anyone who has seen the film will ever forget. As I write this I can hear the crunch on the man’s teeth on the curb and it makes my spine shiver. Every culture throughout history has had its issues with racism whether it’s Africans who hate another tribe or Hitler’s extermination of Jews, this film accurately portrays the upbringing and creation of racism on the small scale. Everyone has choices to make and despite making poor choices it is one’s own ability to change and make themselves better that I think is best portrayed in this
