Personal Narrative: My Rap Bible

Improved Essays
The most important thing about me is -- I am producing this Rap Bible to reach a younger generation who probably would never pick up a Bible. I am not doing this for money, even though it will cost money to purchase because it cost money to make. I am not doing this to make my name great, even though my name may be promoted. I am doing this to express my artistic passion to reach a different audience. I believe this will be a one of a kind project and I am already looking forward to a remix version of it with multiple artists.

A little background on me and my style of communicating. I am working on a doctoral degree from an accredited seminary (an ATS seminary). This is very important to me because it validates my research and makes me feel

Me and a group of my friends started a computer game company and produced several games. They are in the $10.00 bin now, but we got a contract and pumped them out. At one point some of the titles made it all the way to the shelves of Barnes and Nobles. How many people can say that? After our run was over, we all went separate ways. The game industry is hard and entrepreneurship is no joke. There were plenty of nights were we all worked around the clock and slept on floors to keep the production schedule on target. Those years though challenging, were some of the best years of my life. I will forever cherish that experience. I will post a section with some of my artwork and games soon. This is my short version of my journey, wait until I write the entire journey. Stay tuned.

I am an encourager. I choose to live every day with a spirit of happiness and gratefulness. I do have bad days, but they do not last long. I have a network of people who bring me up when I get down. Most of the time, we do it for each other. So stay positive and enjoy creation. Why live your life worried? Live your life excited that new opportunities await you. It is crazy to think that America went through these time. It is sad to know that many people from all over had to go through this experience, especially African-Americans. You are definitely right to think that anyone who trusted in the separate but equal statement were out of their minds, and i also agree. I am also thankful that we as American have taken huge steps in bettering our ways of thinking and have moved forward since…

The screeching of my violin echoed off the wall as I struggled to play Mendelssohn's concerto in E minor. The double stops that were meant to flow in harmony came out in a jumbled mass of notes indistinguishable from the shriek of a dying cow. I whimpered as these terrible sounds emitted out of my violin, and threw my violin down in defeat. I slowly tilted my head towards the clock, a terrifying reminder that my addition was only 10 min away. I gathered up my music, and ambled away from the empty practice room to where my judge would listen to my audition.…

His scenes were very clever.…

These were on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. The album as a whole I will rank at the end after presenting all my points. Country music it's beautiful when sung right and no it's not just about cheating on your wife and drinking beer. My upbringing was different from most American kids because I 'm not just American, I 'm African American. More specifically I 'm Ivorian-American. Immigrating and assimilating into the American culture was a feat. Everything was significantly different from what I was used to in Abidjan. Suddenly, I was aware that I 'm different and even those who I thought were the same as me, weren 't. It wasn 't until I became older and grew to understood myself that I was able to make sense of it all.…

I have felt many pressures, race is such a big problem among black people but as community can get over the hump of being pressured into a few stereotypes. From my own personal experience being a young black man growing up in many places of black being the majority such as Detroit, Chicago, New York I felt an amazing amount of comfort around these areas. Once I move down to La Vernia Texas, being enrolled into an all white school with a lot of Mexicans and the only black people could only fit on a bench in a hallway that we called “The Black Bench” in high school, I attended La Vernia school district for 7 years from 4th grade all the way to 10th grade in high school. I devote myself to any project I start or activity I join, which I find of great value. For example, as a kid I enjoyed to watch cheerleaders at the high school and dreamed to be one. As of now I have been a cheerleader for five years and plan to continue next year.…
