Volunteering as an ambassador had given me an handful of skills that has helped me to build my strengths. An ambassador, volunteers at special events (parents night, music night) and depending on the event they are told specifically what to do. Communication was also a crucial skill through this volunteering experience. To volunteer as an ambassador it is highly recommended to communicate with parents, students and teachers. As an ambassador, my duty was to serve as a responsible tour guide, it was my obligation to greet, assist parents to interviews rooms and guide them to their destination. Communication skills are recommended for this program because it is required for students to communicate with other students while working in groups, labs and etc.
