The author of this piece makes the case that although women must make sacrifices in order to maintain successful work lives and be nurturing mothers, compromising is worth having both. Though at times it is hard for women (especially working mothers) to balance everything in their lives, they should do it if it makes them happy. This source is valuable to my research because it once again shows that more and more women are striving to be successful professionals - and they deserve to have help juggling these goals with their parenting goals. Women are assets to the American workforce, so they should be treated as such. The author of this book section is a qualified journalist; this source is
