Everybody has a different body shape. Do we realize how society has an effect on us and of how our body shape is? All across the United States, people are suffering from eating disorders. The topic of eating disorders tends to get pushed aside. There are many myths of eating disorders. because of this, it does more harm than good. I remember going over in health class of what anorexia. We’re not fully educated about what an eating disorder is truly is. What causes eating disorders, and how society plays a role in this. The campaign will culminate on October 15, 2009, the day earmarked to celebrate Love Your Body Day with actions and events.” Everybody’s body is different, therefore nobody should offend someone bodies since they don’t fit their ideal body shape and size. Women are not the one ones that are struggling with these eating disorders it is also the men. Having these unrealistic bodies is causing more damage than good. It is the consumption of beauty. As a society we drive to look younger, be prettier. We are not seeing what this consumption is doing to us. It is causing eating disorders, that are extremely toxic to people. We judge somebody who is a lot curvier than us, we judge is they are skinnier. It may make you feel better, by judging another person. You don’t know what they are going through. People with their negativity abbot others peoples' bodies, it’s harmful. This fake beauty trend that you’ll be happier if you’re skinnier. It’s not true, you are beautiful for you. Men are also going through this, it is a big deal, and people should be worried about eating disorders and care for one and other instead of putting them down for a different body image. An eating disorder is not a beauty statement it is a condition that people should be aware of. Don’t judge a person until you walk a mile in their shoes, everybody is beautiful in their own way. Society shouldn’t make us feel that we have to
