Final Project: Art Workshop
During this semester we had to choose a work of one of the three famous painters who were allowed to choose, Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró, and recreate it with the art of our choice, using our own style.
I chose to recreate a painting by Van Gogh, an artist I have always admired for his distinctive technique and variety of works; and the picture I chose was one of the seven paintings by him in the series of "The Sunflowers".
Unlike the original painting, which was painted with oils on canvas, I decided to use a different type of paints, acrylics; a technique with which I am familiar uy and enjoy it more than others.
