This position really stood out to me because it allows me to apply my knowledge that I have learned in various classes in a real-world setting. I would work right up until I had to go back to school and then the first few weeks of school were a struggle because I wanted to be outside rather than sitting in a classroom.…

Last summer I began babysitting for a couple that I have never met before, which was very nerve wracking meeting them at first, thankfully I got the privilege of taking care of two sweet kids. This was a very fun summer, we went to their grandparents pool, played football in the front yard, and on rainy days I would play videogames with Jacob and do whatever crazy things Molly had come up with. Babysitting has definitely taught me many different things such as how to take care of and watch children like a hawk, how to discipline them by teaching them the right things to do, and how to be creative by finding different things to do. Watching Molly like a hawk is a necessity because she is very reckless and likes to “explore” which means climb…

This was a great job, good company, excellent owner, wonderful children who had both bad and good days, (Mondays, and indoor free play aka the cage of death). This job was anything but boring. The children kept me very busy and required me to stay organized, maintain my wits, and sense of humor during some very chaotic stressful situations.…
