If someone were to try a new sport and they felt they were going to be terrible at it, and then they turned out to be good, it builds their confidence. Little by little after practice or a game, they start to get better. When someone starts to get better at something that is important to them it builds their confidence.
In contrast, not only positive things come with playing sports, several negative things come along with playing sports. One thing is, when someone doesn’t get to play as much as some of the other kids, someone might think it would be funny to laugh at them or pick on them for not getting to play. Another negative thing that comes along with playing sports is, a player could get hurt such as break a bone. Some people lose their confidence after something like that happens. They get scared that they will never be able to play as great as they once were able to.
In conclusion there are many positive and negatives that come along with playing sports. From building their self confidence to breaking a bone, sports can help or make things worse for anyone. Some help with stress, while other times sports just stress people out even
