Siddhartha’s father would go to great lengths to shelter his son from witnessing the misery, hate, and suffering of the world. He was very worried his son would be exposed to such things and that it would impact him negatively. It became an irrational fear of his to a degree that he built for him a palace built just for the boy to stay in and would not allow him to leave it even as he grew up. Every facet of time and space, present, future, and past and even distance melded together and became a single state. He was aware of every single cell in his body and would grasp a timeless presence. It is at this point that Siddhartha would transform his mind, body and spirit into the “enlightened on” or Buddha and thus he shall be referred to as such.
