There is no specific test that can truly diagnose this mental disorder. Because the symptoms of schizophrenia are truly overwhelming, it is great to have learned that there is an effective holistic treatment that is sufficient to end unnecessary strong dosages of drugs for victims of schizophrenia. I have always been captivated by mental health illnesses and always wondered how do you treat them. It opened my eyes to see how many victims of schizophrenia have gone through high dosages of antipsychotic drugs and have to deal with serious side effects that most of the time the individuals stop the medication because the side effects are unbearable. This study took 7 years and when I first read this article I was instantly hooked to this topic because it is something I really sympathize with and was excited to learn that there was a better alternative to treating patients then with the usual drug-focused care. I personally found the whole concept of this article to be attention-grabbing because in the typical U.S. health care system, the primary treatment of illness is through medicine.
