Book Summary: The Mighty Eighth

In the book the Mighty Eighth it is a story about the 2nd world war and it is faced mainly on the planes in the air. The mighty eighth is one of the plane groups and it went through some of the biggest struggles. The biggest part of the book is when the plane gets shot down and one of the guys said to himself why am I hear and that is when I choose my big question.
Most of the book the group has problems and one person is lost in the crash. His team and he got split up he is left all by himself. He is trying to survive he knows it is not long before the enemy closes in on him. He is afraid that the enemy will make it to him before the team does.
As he sets up for survival he is injured and knows that he will have little to no chance lucky
