RC stated that Anna is still in the pre-contemplative stage of her illness and continues to present her unwillingness to work towards establishing goals towards obtaining employment. SES stated that Anna had indicated that she is applying for SSI benefits and has been advised by an attorney not to pursue working a regular job during until she has be awarded her benefits. This past weekend I had the incredible opportunity to assist in a girls leadership program called Wavus Girls Lead. Wavus Girls Lead is a four month long program that allows 7th and 8th grade girls to develop their leadership skills in order to effectively avoid and resolve conflicts and difficult circumstances that they may face in their daily lives.
