A Christmas Carol is a story about a man named Scrooge who is trying to change his ways after being visited by three ghosts. During the story, Scrooge realizes what his actions are doing to people around him. The book has some excellent examples of cause and effect throughout it. During the story, Scrooge is shown to be a greedy and evil man.This is because he has a lot of money and he pays his coworker; Cratchit, less than he should be making. Cratchit, however, does not mind how much he is making. As a result of this, one of the ghosts, The Ghost of Christmas Present, shows Scrooge Cratchits poor family and his dying son.
