INTRODUCTION “Actions can do something more than you can ever imagine” (Clores, 2018)
Have you ever been in a situation that you’re starting to sketch out of nowhere? Sometimes we get unmindful and not even realizing that we are causing destruction to someone’s property. There’s a matter of time that we do kinds of stuff out of weariness or even cause of stress or feeling of lonesome. This case is serious especially when you don’t have any control and letting your actions do all the work for you.
Vandalism can lead to destruction. This is a way of destroying someone’s property if you don’t have any permission to do it. Also, vandalism is illegal because of being mischief of your hands' movement. There is one called “Urban Art” when you can …show more content…
They can easily get inattentive and do such things out of nowhere like writing on their desk or draw a character on their walls. It is irrelevant to annihilate the school properties, but the students keep on doing it. This is one of their ways of how they can express their feelings when they're afraid to do it directly. This could help the students to cope up their stress and relieve their mind.
There is one called "psychological effect" which leads the students to do such things like vandalism. It is an effect that comes to your mind; affect the way you act and react to your surroundings. It can easily spread and destroy you. It is oftentimes to students who are experiencing hard times.
We can't blame all the students for this kind of behavior because we don't know how they can relay their lives through vandalism unless they are having a great time causing trouble to the school properties without any reasons. STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE
This study aims to answer the factors that affect the students to vandalize the PUP facilities.
RESEARCH IMPEDIMENT
This study will tackle only the reasons why the students tend to vandalize the facilities in PUP. Thus, this study will limit the discussion about vandalism.
Furthermore, the researchers will get 15 students as the interviewee and identified as the subject in the study who is currently enrolled at Polytechnic University of the Philippines for the school year 2017-2018.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The aim of this research is to educate the PUP Community, PUP officers, School facilitators, Professors, Parents Students and Future Researchers.
The information of the study was summed up to the following beneficiaries:
For the PUP Community. This study will help the PUP Community to not easily judge people or students who vandalize and for them to know why these students making those actions such as vandalism.
For the PUP Officers. This study will help PUP officers to understand why students tend to vandalize and how to help their students to have proper disciplinary
