It is theorized that many families needed about two-thousand dollars per year to survive, however, sixty-percent of families had a yearly income of less than two-thousand. When the crash occurred, the very wealthy were able to get by, albeit barely. The majority of the population, though, were in trouble. Nobody, at least most people, could not spend any money and as a result products were left unsold. Shops lost business and factories could not continue as nobody was purchasing their products. This is where unemployment stepped in and began its chaos. It took time for the Great Depression to begin its rampage, but America’s spirit was at its lowest point during the winter of 1932. The Great Depression happens where people are poor and doing all they can to get by. Eventually, people in the U.S. started to recover and money was circulating well again. Fortunately, the Great Depression ended long ago and the world is better, at least somewhat, today. However, as mentioned before, God describes the love of money as the root of all evil, which may feel pleasurable for a season but eventually gives way to horror. People should pay more attention to the Bible, for it speaks of many things that are evidenced to be true today. After all, God lays out the path of pride in Proverbs 16:18, where He says that “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” (The Bible, King James
