Chebi Nisuki's Injury: A Short Story

I’ve sustained a heavy injury, I’m running from my hunters, and I’m alone. Chebi Nisuki is a fearsome group of assassins trained by The King's own daughter. Who, in all rights, is a weapon herself.

I'm the last of my kind, A Void. Our kind could wield the concept of Nothingness in tandem with Dark Magic, which we used to send our enemies to Oblivion- The Edge of Chaos. Our power was feared- and respected- Then one day we were all killed in the dead of night, and our nation was overtaken.

The King of the Asashibi Nation had offered me a place in his force- which I refused and then proceeded to fight my way out of the castle. After escaping, the king sent the Chebi Nisuki after me. That’s how we get to my current situation- She who Perceives

“Give up, Nesiden,” Misanagi said. “We both know how this ends…”

“Heh, maybe,” I say, refusing to elaborate any further.

Before anyone could react, I channeled the Power of Oblivion through my swords, and swung them five separate times The only indication that I had done something, were three hairline slash’s in the air that seemed to suck in all the light- Tears in reality to Oblivion.

“They don't call me the Emissary of Oblivion for nothing,” I snarled. “I serve Milady, The Crawling Chaos…” Though she prefers Nesunia… I added to myself at the end.

Misanagi snarled. “Tier 1 Creation: Time Collapse” In front of her, golden lines of energy traced a symbol around the area.

I swore and just before the technique activated, I announced my own. “Tier 2 Destruction: Simultaneous Cancellation!” I winced from the strain of jumping straight to using a Tier 2 technique instead of using a tier 1 version of it. But it paid off when not only her Time Manipulation technique was canceled out- but so did the half-dozen other spells that were aimed to kill
