I believe that “A cry in the wild” does a better job of telling the story. I believe due to , the movie shows everything . It showed how the pilot looked it was scary to see the pilot . He had found a piece of the plane he ate a piece of gum out of the lake . In the movie he ran from the bear, and in the book he stood still until the bear left. In the movie a wolf licked his arm and formerly he closed his eyes and he repartee his dog licking his arm ,in the book it never said something about the dog . In the book it forenamed that he seen the pilot’s skeleton ,in the movie he byword the pilot's body . So the movie does a superior job telling the story.
