The movies opening song “oh I come from a land / from a faraway place where the caravan camels roam. / where they cut off your ear / if they don’t like your face. / its barbaric, but hey, its home”. In the begging of the song it says I come from a place where the camels roam describing what it’s like there because they would mainly travel by camel but then its says a place where they will cut of your ear it’s kind of dark but that stuff actually happens there. In the Disney movie when jasmine breaks out of the palace and roams the street she steals an apple to give to some kids but the owner did not like that and the punishment four thieves it said was to cut off your hand which luckily for here Aladdin stopped him from doing so.
