The purpose of this paper is to compare the roles of a Human Service Professional provide to clients in diverse environments, especially in criminal justice and forensic settings. These professionals have the opportunity to work in diverse settings including, psychiatric hospitals, crisis centers, and prisons to name a few. Human service professionals can play different roles in various settings but all demand you to advocate for your clients to your best ability. By working in the Criminal and Forensic field you may face ethical and legal dilemmas but keep in check with your own personal beliefs and keeping clients first.
