This essay is going to focus on one of the significant aspect of law which is confidentiality and define the huge duty of this aspect in health and social care. Also to introduce two acts of UK law , human right acts (HRA) and Data protection acts (DPA). Using computer and new technology in health care have increased the quality of care and it makes nurses easy to do their duties for protecting or sharing patients’personal details securely. However using of theses facilities have some disadvantages, for instance, Unauthorised access to data , easy to share them and also storing all information in memory of computer while that computer might stop working because of the problem in software or hardware.
