During Christmas especially for the Evangelical Christians, it is time to spend and a lot of money goes on consumption materials rather than investment. The people engage in festive mood that requires consumption of various foods as well as services that may be limited during other seasons. For instance the roses may not do well during Christmas Eve however the decorations would work. People purchase a variety of decorating material and equipment. Some people have been seen to use the balloons, LED lights, colored bulbs, jingles as well as the Christmas tree during this period. Others are known to be hefty spenders on clothes during Christmas and this changes their consumer decision making procedures. People tend to focus on what brings about happiness and merry, togetherness and family touch during Christmas. The whole Christian community focusses on purchase of gifts to the families, friends as well as the needy. Consumption is also defined by the consumers’ experience. For instance in terms of accounting it may be based on history about a certain object; one may prefer going to watch a match with his kids rather than moving alone. Consumption is also defined as an integration of the consumers’ self-identity. Consumers identify themselves with particular goods that meet their needs exceptionally. There is pretty no distance differentiating the consumer and the items. This is very close to consumption behaviors during Christmas. Everyone has his or her own favorite way of celebrating, this way seems to be very unchanged over a couple of years developing into bot a consumption culture as well as a form of loyalty.
