For a long time, chemistry has been used to change our lives for good. New studies and researches have been promoted, seeking to offer improvement in many fields, like in the medicine, technology and food industry. Chemistry is so inserted in our daily lives, that we usually do not take notice of it, neither of how it’s used. Like many other things, some topics of chemistry are surrounded by plenty of questioning and controversies among scientist and researchers, until a safe and clear conclusion is taken. A good example is bisphenol A, a chemical with a wide use in different industries, under ongoing researches that has lasted for years, and that has been concerning many scientists of its possible harmful effects for humans.
