The Amerindians were forced to learn the Spanish language and for many years under the Spain colonies they practice that language. The Latin language named these countries and all continent Latin America. Today this language is an official language and is used in all countries that make a couses of the consequences of the European in Middle and South America. Another point to cultural, social region is Religion. When the Portuguese and the Spanish conquered Latin America, they made the natural inhabitants change over to Roman Catholicism. They prohibited the practice of their native religions which is not exist any more, but some people were unable to revolt because of their lower class status and they would hide their religion which allowed their religion to still be practice today. This was epidemics of smallpox, typhus, influenza, diphtheria and measles that swept the American subsequent to European contact and they were killed million and million people up to 95% of the indigenous population of the Amerindians. This disaster came as a bringing from European a large domesticated animals such as cows, pigs, sheep, goats and horses that contained those kind of diseases. Human mortality in that areas create a lot of problems because Native Americans had no immunity and died people were in the large amount. Those kind of diseases today look like are minimized, but still again around the countries with not high structure of health protectors.
