Suzanne Duchamp was born in a artistic family she was the fourth of 6 children. Suzanne started studying art at a unimaginley young age of 16. Suzanne studied art at the school of FIne arts of Rouen. She married jean Crotti but later divorced him and moved to get closer to her brother. Suzanne ended up marrying her brother and he influenced her and really inspired her to do Dadaism. (2)
Suzanne Duchamp started her work in 1919. Suzanne mostly did paintings and would combine odd symbols. Suzanne at times would do sculptures and the peace’s would include machine parts. Some of Suzanne’s work is odd to me there is one piece that is untitled but know as “landscape with the cubist trees” it almost look like a childrens drawing I like alot of Suzanne’s pieces but this is one very much the one thing I do like about this peace is how you are looking through a window. Marcel did not want to be associated in any way with any certain art movement. Even though he didn't want to be affiliated with a art movement he was he ended up being a very big artist that dealt with Dadaism. Sense marcel didn't want to be involved with a certain art movement he had a very small amount of works. Marcel was denied multiple times because of the name of his project such as “nude descending a staircase”. Another time Marcel tested a art society who swore to take all artwork, and tried to submit a urinal that said R.MUTT 1917 and they ended up denying his work.
