This rudimentary method was adequate enough to spawn a sprawling pilgrimage industry, despite the lack of any technological advantages exploited. The digital age has expanded the frontiers of delivering fame, however the media outlets of the 19th and 20th century, notably printing, engraving, photography are known to have contributed more
