Integrity
As most people would say is that integrity is when someone is brave and overcomes something. It can also mean persevering and fighting for what is right. Each morning I wake up it takes integrity just to get up and get through my day. People can use integrity in anything that they do. Most mornings I wake up I just feel like a very small object that will later die and be nothing after that. As for heaven and things like that and what other people think will happen after this life I don’t know. I feel like this time on earth will be here and then be gone in the blink of an eye. I use integrity in the morning in small little ways like telling someone they have nice clothing or even trying to understand people and not be quick to

I think everyone at least should try to step outside their comfort zone and just try something new. It doesn't take much to make a person feel good and make them feel like they were put on this earth for a good reason. Live this life to the fullest. Use integrity to strive for a goal that you want to succeed in like getting accepted into a college you want, being a class president, or even wanting to become a professional soccer player. That would be my dream. I know some people think that is corny and some people will judge me, but what people don’t realize is that they really don’t decide my future and their words do not really mean anything to me. When people say good things about me it makes me feel good of course. When people are nice and say things nice to me it’s like throwing fuel into the fire, it makes me want to work that much harder. If I don’t reach my goal I can always fall back on something else and that’s why an education can be useful. I am not going to give up on what I want to be or what I believe in though. What I think our society lacks

Americans have a lot of opinions about Haiti and about as many questions too. As soon as people know that I’m Haitian, I get flooded with questions that I highly doubt they want the answers to: “Why is Haiti so poor?” “Do you do voodoo?” “Where does all the relief money go?”…

The point where I realized I was no longer a kid, was when my mother made me pay for everything I desired. Until that moment, I thought I would always have support from my mother, she got me everything I asked for, especially when I most deserved it.
