Now I am going to give some real examples about how to use the dignity with different people regardless of their medical condition, culture and religion. So I suppose there a pregnant lady coming to the delivery room and she is Muslim, and her husband requested a female doctor to be the delivering doctor, in this case if possible it is a mandatory for the nurse to convey the patient`s request to the treating physician if he was not a female doctor and female doctor should be assigned if available. The same example applied if we have a male patient came with a bleeding per rectum and needs cleaning, if he requested a male nurse, then a male nurse should be assigned if possible. The second example is when a Jewish patient admitted to the hospital, and the nurse was helping him ordering lunch, here if the patient asks for no pork, then the nurse need to respect his religious believes, and ask for pork free lunch.
