Dodgeball was invented by Augustus Hagerson in 1832, africa. Dodgeball was not always played for fun. It was used to test agility and ruthlessness. In an original (official) game the game starts with one ball on the center line. Then it will becomes two balls evenly spread out on the center line. Each team is lined up on their end lines. It is a sprint to the ball in the center. There is a five second grace period after both teams charge fot he balls, before the balls can be thrown. Each period is 8 minutes. The teams are 4 players each. 3 players are required to start the game. The game is played on a full-length basketball court. In the first five minutes the boundaries are th basketball cout, but after that it will be become the volleyball
