One example could be the student has a child, but cannot get a babysitter. Using micro and macrosociology aspects can benefit the person who is trying to get a better understanding of that person's life and as to why they dropped out of college. Many college students work and some have children to care for. It is difficult to juggle all those three things. Pin pointing exact reasons like those is using microsociology. Macrosociology however is looking at the bigger picture. Maybe the student cannot afford a babysitter because they are in the lower class
