Xavier High School's approach to Jesuit education teaches students to take responsibility for their lives, to lead with integrity, to act justly in service of others, to pursue excellence in every endeavor and to deepen their relationship with God. Xavier High School does this by showing compassion to others, embarking upon a spiritual Kairos Retreat, and doing it for God's greater glory. Xavier College is located in Melbourne, Australia. This school was founded in 1878 and still continues today. Xavier College teaches grades Pre-K - 12th grade, however grades Pre-K - 4th grade are mixed gender and grades 5 and up are all males. Also, It's a boarding school. In total, There are about 2000 students that attend here. The current school president is Dr. Christopher Hayes, and their school colors are black and red. During school they have to wear a black blazer with a red trim on it. In my opinion, Xavier college looks like a great school to attend if you are looking for a boarding school. Xavier College's mission and compassion is very simple. They want their students to go out and help their society and to go on trips to make a difference, however they are strict about it. Retreats and trips are required at this school. They truly want to make a difference in the society.
