At New Hogan Lake, the striped bass bite has been hit or miss with them boiling on the surface one day and gone the next. At Lake Pardee, a recent Kokanee Power Derby drew 106 participants and the winning 3-fish limit weighed 57.70 ounces. At Lake Amador, trout plants will resume in late October and will be supplied by Mt. Lassen Hatchery.
