Treating them equally would be the best thing to do because there still people like us, hopefully God has forgived them for the sins they have done towards him but he will always accept them all. The way the same sex couples kids suffer is horrible , when you 're kid is old enough we should teach them that 's not the way to be as a person because it shows you 're not following the right path , you 're suppose to be with your soul mate. The one God gives you in your life we should be happy with that and don 't let same sex marriage take over. Same sex couples that have kids can suffer in the future because they can 't say they have mom and dad , they can be judged for that even bullied where it gets so bad the same sex couple won 't know about because she or he is scared to say something and won 't think it 's the right thing to do. The same sex marriage law was passed june 26, 2015 in all 50 states FINALLY passed by the supreme court , it is stated that all same sex sex couples may exercise the fundamental right to marry in all states. Did the United States make the right decision to pass the law ? my opinion is yes and then no because our country is based around freedom but then no because that 's not what America is about but we can 't do nothing about it now , everybody will have different opinions

Marriage Equality One of the most controversial topics in today’s media is same-sex marriage and the equal treatment of those in the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community. I am in support of marriage equality for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation, because everyone should have the right to marry their significant other. The United States of America is the supposed “land of the free”, but in some states that statement is merely a phrase and not a practice. Many religious institutions protest gay marriage because they believe it threatens the sanctity of marriage. While religions should be allowed to have their own beliefs, the law should be objective.…

In the article Societal Suicide: Legalizing Gay Marriage Will Lead to More Family Breakdown and crime. Author Charles Colson conclude that Gay marriage should not be forced on fellow Americans by judicial or mayoral fiat. The authors attempt to convince the readers that Americans should be able to have a vote if it should be passed or not. I believe that if this opportunity is given to Americans. Then it will settle the argument on both sides, for those who are against it, and those who embrace it.…

Regardless to how one feels about it, everyone has the same right and the same freedom to do whatever they choose to do as long as it does not cause harm to anyone else. Same sex marriage does not cause harm to anyone. This is a matter of two people coming together for the sake of love who want to spend their life together. They should not have their civil rights violated just because they want to take a path that is not familiar or popular. They should not be judged critically because they do not fit into what has been known to be traditionally correct or politically correct.…

Everyone deserves the freedom to live their life happily. This is why I support the notion to amend the amendment against same sex marriage. Amending the U.S. Constitution is not an easy process. You cannot just go to the president and say “hey the people don’t like this amendment we have to change it”.…

I believe that all people should be treated with equality. I’ve been supportive of gay marriage and equality ever since I was little. Of course I didn’t think much of it, it’s all I’ve ever known. It wasn’t until I was older that I started to hear the discrimination to the gay community. First was the little comments, then the debates on TV, then was the back and forth opinions from my family.…

On Friday, June 26 2015 the Supreme Court ruled in favor of marriage equality in all fifty states. The five to four decision would forever change the lives of members in the lesbian, gay, transgender community and the rest of the country. The circumstances in which this ruling came about was tragic, the concerns around the case caused a lot of controversy but clearly the right decision was made. I really don’t understand why people don’t get this. I realize that it may be difficult for some to expand their traditional views on relationships and marriage, but we as a society need to accept the fact that others have qualities that make them slightly different yet we are all the same.…

Gay marriage is indeed one of the most disputable issues that has been raging from the past till today. In truth, the issue of gay marriage is of utmost importance as it concerns individual rights, especially for the homosexual community. Since the last twentieth century, homosexuality has always been viewed with contempt and individuals are often discriminated or judged by their sexual orientation. In today’s modern world, the biggest advocates against gay marriage are perhaps the people of faith. With the moral beliefs that marriages support procreation, gay couples should never ever be given the right to marry as they are unable to have their own child like heterosexual partners could.…

Gay people are human individuals just like everybody and have the unwritten right to love whoever they please. While many people are against homosexuality because of religious reasons, we live in a secular country, so our laws cannot be dictated by the teachings of a certain religion. Although “some religions don 't support same-sex marriage, others certainly do support it. The most fair and ethical approach—which treats all people equally regardless of religious affiliation—is to factor out religious points of view when crafting marriage laws within a secular context” (Lipp). Not only this, but the legalization of gay marriage would not infringe on a person’s religious right to disagree with it.…

“Sixty percent of Americans now support same-sex marriage, as the Supreme Court prepares to rule on its constitutionality next month. This is up from 55% last year and is the highest Gallup has found on the question since it was first asked in 1996.” Gay marriage is a highly conversational topic that should be looked down upon as morally wrong, but over the past few years it has been gaining more and more support. Gay marriage used to be despised upon many people in many cultures and should remain that way because the definition of marriage is starting to go in a new direction that many are unaware of. The movement started off as people who just wanted to be accepted even thought the are attracted to the same sex, and now people want to change laws so that it is legal to marry all over the country.…

But, the one thing that holds them back is the law. Many states in the U.S banned homosexual marriage due to the fact that marriage between man and woman has been around for the past millennia.
