One issue that has come to light with giving prescription drugs to children is the fact that the overwhelming majority of them were never even intended for children in the first place, due to their ages. In the article, the author, Maureen Salaman Gordon, a former president of the National Hemophilia Foundation, presented very alarming statistics that reveal some eighty percent of these medication were authorized only for adults. The manufacturers of these medications also agree that they should not be recommended for kids. Unwisely, far too many kids are still prescribed these drugs.

One such unfortunate side effect that manifests in these kids is aggression.
