Dorothy had faith in what she said and followed her directions knowing that it would eventually get her home. When she met the three characters along the way, they all had a hard time believing that the Wizard would give them what they needed. The Scarecrow wished that he had a brain. The Tinman was searching for a heart. And finally, the Lion yearned for courage. Once Dorothy met the Scarecrow, she convinced him that he would be able to get a brain, and then they both convinced the Tinman that he’d be able to get a heart. All together they convinced the Lion that he would be able to obtain courage from the Wizard. They all had faith in each other at this moment, even though they were weary at
