Media Bias in 2016 Presidential Election The 2016 presidential election was so intense that draws the world’s attention. The big competition between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was the most controversial topic. Different people have different opinions and take different positions toward these two candidates. People obtain the information about the candidates through different media, and make choices based on the information. Every single choice is important because it can determine the result of the election. Therefore, the media coverage and people’s choices played a very important role in people’s decision making and the 2016 presidential election. However, according to many researches and studies, some of the media coverage was biased in the 2016 presidential election.
Some researches and studies indicate that some media were biased by favoring Trump over Clinton. Many media focus more on Trump than Clinton, and media coverage uses different tone when talking about Trump and Clinton.
