It is fair to say training is lacking in understanding all customers and can be a concern if not focused on properly. Simply understanding different warning signs and how others act is crucial for a screener to understand. In the military this happens pretty often anytime an area of concern arises. Some years ago, a Force Improvement Team did some research on Missile Field Security Police. After a lot of data points collected, several options to better morale, welfare and customer satisfaction needed to be addressed.
