William Shakespeare wrote a total of about 40 plays in his time, ten of them are tragedies. In the tragedy Romeo & Juliet, two teenagers of fueding families fall in love & get married in secret with the help of a monk named Friar Lawrence. After Romeo gets banished for killing Juliet cousin, and Juliet is forced to get married to someone she doesn't love, Friar Lawrence comes up with a plan for both of them to escape and live happily ever after but the plan fails and both teens end up killing themselves. Who is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet? While both Friar Lawrence and Romeo and Juliet are partially responsible, Lord and Lady Capulet deserve the most blame for their death.
The first person that has some blame is Friar Lawrence.
