According to Vuic’s website page, the three awards she received were the Lavinia L. Dock Book Award from the American Association for the History of Nursing, the American Journal of Nursing Books of the Year Award in History and Public Policy, and the Army Historical Foundation Distinguished Writing Award. Based on these remarkable awards, Vuic was obviously praised and respected for her highly acclaimed novel.
