As a baseball player, I spent countless hours on the field playing and practicing. Baseball is one component which has taught me how to strategize, a positive attitude and a solid foundation in balancing school and sports. It is a lot of fun when you get to play baseball every day for three hours or until the sun goes down. I am sure if you played on a travel softball team you practiced for long hours and played many double headers. I think it is wonderful your dad was your coach so you were able to practice with your team. I bet your dad was able to teach you so many skills off the field too.
