Now, we have medicines and machines to help combat these things. According to the University of Berkeley, the life expectancy of 1950 was "71 years for those living in developed countries." By 1998, the life expectancy was "79.9 years". In just 48 years we were able to add 9 more years to our lives. Now think of how much better out technology is than what it was in 1998. In conclusion, technology has helped change the world for the better.
