Smoking is the cause of maternal and infant illness. In many cases, some of the deaths happen. This study was conducted to assess smoking prevalence and quit rates after health education among pregnant women at the four highest census maternity clinics of the Jefferson County Health Department in Birmingham, Alabama, according to the guidelines and the provisions established by the American Health Foundation. Researchers have always used different methods to conduct a study on Health Education for Pregnant Smokers. The most common method that has been used to evaluate Health Education for Pregnant Smokers is questionnaires. In this case, questionnaires were used to determine the negative effects of motherhood and breastfeeding, excess health care costs, and Behavioral Impact.
