Hemophilia is a rare hereditary bleeding disorder where the blood cannot clot normally at the site of a wound or injury. Where someone who has a minor cut can profusely bleed, and it can get so bad that it could end up making them sick.
There are two types of hemophilia, Type A and Type B.
Type A: Is the most common type, it is caused by lacking Factor VII, which is one of the proteins to help blood form clots. Type B is caused by lacking Factor IX.
Hemophilia is normally diagnosed at birth, it can still be found later in life if your body begins to produce antibodies that attack and destroy clotting factors.

Hemophilia can be passed through the mothers and fathers genes. So through sexual activity, and then is passed onto their child through birth.

Treatment for an internal bleed need to be taken care of in a prompt manner with factor replacement therapy. Bleeding for long periods of time can cause serious health problems. If a child is found with an internal bleed give a blood factor and if it is too much turn to a doctor for help.
For reducing pain doctors say that Tylenol is the best option, because other pain reducers from over the counter (ibuprofen) contain NSAIDs also known as “nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs” which can cause increased bleeding. Preventing Bleeding Problems
