Honors Program Research Paper

Every year, there are many college students that are admitted into The Honors Program or College. Many people wonder what it is like to be apart of it. There are many requirements to be able to participate in this particular program that you must meet. The Honors Program is one of the best programs that a college or university has. I will describe and discuss my personal history and experiences as well as why I would like to participate in The Honors Program at Tougaloo College. Ever since middle school, I have been this outstanding student. I was in one of the best and smartest classes my eighth grade year. I realized then that it was not the end but the beginning of this journey. My classmates and I took an Algebra I state test, and we all passed the test. The faculty and staff at our school was so proud and encouraged us to take honors classes once we entered high school. They made sure we signed up for them. I have had the experience of taking honors classes with many of my classrooms. They are not that easy but not as difficult as one may think. I studied very hard and focused while taking these classes. I had to maintain a balanced of social life and extra curricular activities. I had some very hard and rough times, and I felt like I wanted to give up because so many things began to pile up on me. There were many long nights and early mornings that I barely had and sleep or rest, but I was dedicated and determined to be successful in school and my life.
