How Did Montag Changes In Fahrenheit 451

In the story “Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury it talks about the life story of Montag. In this story it talks about how the world is without any books. But in this story it talks about firemen who cause fires to people's houses for having ownership to books. It talks about the story about Montag who changes his whole opinion about having ownership to books. Montag ends up caring about people which at first he did not care about anyone. Without doubt, Montag changed for the better in the story “Fahrenheit 451.” Without doubt, Montag was a very selfish person. He did not even know if he loved his wife. Montag did not even love the woman he married. He did not care about books obviously. He was one of the people that burned the books in people's house. Montag took pride in his job, he would work whenever possible, he loved his job. Montag never thought of the implications of his job and he has not thought about why they burn books. All he knew was that owning books is illegal and anyone who owns them should be arrested for their doing. A way that Montag changes is when he starts getting a deeper understanding of books. While he was out to burn books with his crew he finds out that this lady had a whole collection of books. The team of firemen tried to get the lady out of the house so they could burn them. But the woman refused to have them take away her freedom instead of having them burn her books. After this Montag started to wonder why would someone rather die than not having a chance to read. He then started to see how wicked the world has become. He also starts to realize how wicked people are, he saw that most of them do not care about their families. All they care about was themselves and do not want anything to do in how to become a civil human
