How Did Shakespeare Change Over Time

One of the greatest playwrights of all time was William Shakespeare. He, like many famous individuals, was not terribly popular when he lived. He wrote more than 30 plays and did many other works as well. The plays he wrote captivated the audience, and told story's like no other. He built his own theater, and used the money he got from it, to buy his family the second largest estate in Stratford. His fame mostly came after he had died. In the 19th century, adoration for Shakespeare was at its highest. He seemed to have a wit and talent for writing. So what changed from then to now? Today we can have speakers or microphones hooked up to the actors, making it possible for everyone to hear what they had to say. Back then the entire audience had to be quiet or everyone else wouldn't get to hear the play. The performers had to be loud and demanding so that the audience would be quiet and pay attention. If they paid attention, then they would not want to talk.

If you want to make it anywhere in the world you need to make deals. In Shakespeare's era this was also true. According the article "Shakespeare's Bio" the writer made deals with the king's men, to sell his works. Today business deals are necessary for a company to do well. Like Shakespeare most businesses don't do very well and aren't as successful without them. That is one thing that is the same in both eras.
Today Shakespeare is one of the most beloved writes of all time. His works have been read, sung, and performed for more than 150 years. In his age many things were different though. The Volume of the actors, diseases, and lighting were issues then. They aren't now thanks to advances in medical, and electronic technology.
