How My Father Impacted Me

Improved Essays
In my lifetime I have had many people make an impact in my life, but there is always that one person who you can pick out who has had the most. My father, Jimmy Sorvillo has been that person. He has impacted me to stay active and workout. A memory I can always think of when you ask me why my father has impacted me in this area is when he first introduced insanity to me. I was just hanging around the house one night when my father comes home from work with a stack of DVD’s in box that read insanity. I asked him where he got it what it was for. He told me he would just show me. So we turned the video on and we started the workout. It was tough and trained me to push myself. This memory is just one of many I can state on how my dad has impacted

A giant isn’t just someone that’s been there to provide for you, but a person that has been through a lot but was still able to manage success for them and others. My father is a proven giant of mine based on the theme of the research paper. I consider my father as my giant because what he went through growing up in the inner-city around gang violence, and the ability to move to a better neighborhood to take care of his family when the poverty and unemployment percentage rate was at an increase in the United States demonstrates the adversity he overcame. What my father overcame impacted me in many unique ways and that’s why I describe him as my personal giant. Adversity is a hard situation to get through and not many can overcome the task.…
