Humility In Beowulf

A hero is someone who did ordinary thing in an extraordinary way. through thousands of years of reading about heroes in Greek mythology. Seeing rights activist give their life for their cause. Heroes have helped and inspired people to do unbelievable things. Heroes are usually selfless and show humility through their entire life. Some heroes do not show humility till an eye opening experience, or even death . Humility is what separates a hero from a regular person.
Ancient heroes, or epics had many qualities that made them heroes in their time. There are many known epic heroes such as Hercules, Achilles, and Beowulf. Stories involving epics there was no humility heroes including Odysseus and Beowulf. Beowulf shows a lot of hubris when fighting Grendel with his bare hands and talking about himself. Odysseus exhibits a great deal of hubris through "The Odyssey" by barging about himself. . Heroes executed great deeds examples include Beowulf defeating the demon Grendel, and Grendel's mother. MLK became a hero because he led a march in D.C protesting segregation. He overcame the obstacles in front of him. All most all heroes overcame everything to become immortalized. The way to become a hero is to overcome all obstacles that have placed in front of you. That statement is not an easy one to overcome but it can be done. When most humans face a challenge or adversity they quit, they give because that is the easy route. That is why heroes are not common among people they are usually not known as heroes till they have died. Today's culture is known as when things get rough it is time to run or leave it alone. I look at life that if I do not have any issues or challenges in front of me. I know that the storm is coming it is my job to overcome
