Good afternoon, lovely ladies and gentle. Today, we are gathered here to commemorate the life of one of the most affectionate and well-rounded women I have encountered, my mother, Evangeline Afiwor Fiawoo, nee Tamakloe, alias Ete. She earned the alias, Ete, meaning aunt in my Native dialect, Ewe, because of her loving nature towards everyone she met, be it family or stranger. It is an immense honor to be given the privilege to pay tribute to her. Her relationship with her husband, children and grandchildren was unwavering, supportive and unfaltering.
My mother was married to my dad, Seth Fiawoo at age…. Unfortunately, daddy had suffered a chronic stroke while we, the children, were still young. Ete never left is bedside. She catered for him
