Social media has considerably changed the manner in which we communicate today. Decades ago, people used to communicate by face-to-face conversation or mailing and land line telephone among other outdone mediums, which have been replaced by technological changes. In the present world, people send text messages, use instant messages, leave voice messages, and talk on webcams, headphones, cell phones as well as the internet (Sternberg, 2012).
